Trainees are asked to identify the most interesting event in The Happy Prince and they have to justify why that part is chosen.

LITTLE SWALLOW GOES TO SEAMSTRESS HOME.
1-SYMPATHY little swallow see the misery seamstress. little swallow report to HAPPY PRINCE and he feel sympathy to poor woman and touching that she deserved to get all the pleasure. 2-RESPONSIBILITY The seamstress has a responsibility to finish the embroider for loveliest of the Queen's maid -of-honour although she looks very tired and too old woman. 3-CARING She also take care with little boy is lying ill.She try to get what a little boy needs even though she has nothing to give him.

The Happy prince commanded Swallow to pluck out his ruby, sapphire and fine gold to help people in trouble.
Reason:
1) Sincerity of Happy Prince to help people in trouble and make them life happiness untill his looks quite dull.
2) Loyalty of Swallow to his jobs as a messenger of Happy Prince untill his died.
3) Great friendship with both of them even though they are different (bird and statue). Swallow never leave Happy Prince that is blind and decided to stay.
Reason : a) Swallow do not go to Egypt even though he know winter season will arrive. b) He is willing to fly over big city to see the suffering and misery of man and of women. c) The relationship between Swallow and Happy Prince are to close.
1)a willingness to sacrifice -The prince is sacrifice his eye and his fine gold skin to his poor people -Swallow is decide not to go to egypt and willing to stay with the prince even in winter season.
2)the hard work swallow - he is fly over the city to see the suffering and misery people. -he is fly back to the city to give poor people fine gold leaf by leaf from the prince's body.
3)Happiness - all the poor people are not suffering anymore after get the fine gold from the prince and swallow. They can buy foods and play games with happy.

The Prince gives his eyes to the little match girl & the writer:
1) SACRIFICE: The Prince bear to loose his both eyes and be blind to help the most needy people.
2) CARING: The Swallow choose to stay with the prince to look after the prince even though the winter has come and know that he will be freezing to death.
3) APPRECIATION & EXCITEMENT The little match girl & the writer were very excited and thankful to the sapphire given.

2)HAPPY CHILDREN -The prince sacrifice himself for other people happiness.
3)"We have bread now!" -the phases makes us know that before this they hard to get bread for their food, and make us wondering what do they eat before they didn't have the gold.
